What a nightmare dealing with Fred's.
I called to request a service call for our double oven on Jan. 24, 2023. We had this same failure a few years ago and I told the scheduler which part was needed. An appointment was made for February 10th. On that morning they called and said that they didn't have anyone available to come due to illness or whatever. They then set the next appointment for February 23rd. On the morning of Feb 23rd they called and said they wouldn't be able to come again. The next appointment was set for March 6th and the same thing happened that morning. Finally on March 17th 2 repairmen show up without the part that they were supposed to bring. Being a glutton for punishment I agreed they could order the part and get the oven repaired as long as it would be be prior to Easter when my wife would need both ovens. On March 29th the scheduler called and said that the part was in and the next available slot was April 24th. I explained that I was assured that it would be installed prior to Easter which is April 9th this year and was told that would not be possible. At that point I'd enough and walked away from the fiasco that I should have ended much earlier.
To top things off they quoted $200 more for the part than other suppliers and wanted $250/hr for labor.
To recap: 3 no shows that wasted my time and then on the 4th they show up without the part. All this over a 2 month time frame. It appears that when they miss an appointment that your next opportunity will be pushed out to the end of the waiting list.

Sold me a $3,000+ refrigerator knowing the ice machine has a documented history of freezing up and needing repair. My bad for not doing more investigating on the product, but I should be able to trust the salesperson is relaying all pertinent information. Granted it's been 3 years, but when I showed up asking for them to repair it at no charge to make it right (even though we both know it'll happen again), especially since we have purchased multiple appliances from them in the last 4 years AND because I send a lot of business their way I was told no. Upon re-iterating again that they sold me this product with full knowledge of the problem and that it is much easier to keep a customer than to find a new one, I was told they are only willing to take care of reasonable customers. Say what? Bottom line: Fred's is great ... until you have a problem, and then somehow it'll be your fault for them not taking care of you.

Stay Away from this business. Spent over $14,000 with this company to have them damage my house. Also GE profile stove has had to have the repair man out of 7 times and still does not work correctly but they will not replace it. I have email pictures of the damage and still no returned calls. BestBuy or Lowes would have been a better pick.

We purchased multiple appliances in June. In August, the water and ice in our new fridge stopped working. Service was scheduled for December. Then I got a call saying the tech was leaving and we needed to be rescheduled for FEBRUARY! We only purchased everything there because of the sales associate’s FALSE assurances that they take care of their customers. Will never buy from Fred’s again.

Purchased a new Washer/Dryer, June 29th, 2020. My washer has decided to quit spinning!! (On January 24th, 2021). Purchased from the Kalispell, Montana store. So, this morning, the 25th, I call the store at 8:05am. No response. Operator says hours are from 8-5. So I call again @ 8:15, no response. Emailed at 8:30 am and 9:35 am, No response. Call again @9:20, put on hold for 20 min. No response. Call again @ 9:40, after 10 minute hold, someone finally answered. She seemed put out by my call. Anyway, after all that, they make my appt. 2 days from now. What???? I paid 300.$ for the 5 year warranty and this is how I'm treated... Very Disappointing..

If i could give NO stars or negative stars, I would. We ordered 17k worth of appliances in July. First, when we called to ask if someone could come out to ensure we ordered the right ones, they said "bring us all of the serial numbers and we can exact match the sizes that way", so we did. Second, they told us the order would take a couple weeks to arrive, it's now almost November and we are still dealing with them and the mess. Their "serial number match" was a joke - they ordered us a fridge that was too small for our opening, the dishwasher didn't fit and neither did the microwave, basically the only thing that did was the cooktop. So, installer gets here the first time once all appliances are delivered and immediately tells us the fridge wont fit and how did we measure, we told them we didn't, they said bring the serial numbers in. He said they could have had me come out and do a measurement appointment (we were never offered this). Fridge goes back and I ask for a refund instead of going through the process to wait for another one since it took almost three months to get in the first place - they had the BALLS to charge me a 25% restocking fee - I mean, that was a 7k fridge that you said would fit and now you just get to keep my money for your mistake? Tons more issues i could write, see Yelp, Google or Facebook for the rest of the story, limited characters on here.

We purchased a fan/blower and several appliances for our kitchen about 3 months ago. The blower does not work and has never worked . Dan was the salesperson and readily accepted our money but is unable or unwilling to either get us a new blower or fix the one he sold us. Tried to buy local but we are very disappointed.
